Spring is here!

Wednesday, March 28th 2007 10:45 pm CDT

I will be exhibiting my artwork at the 2007 Minnesota Horse Expo. Look for my tent right outside the Coliseum towards the central ticket entrance. I am looking forward to presenting many new pieces as well as displaying the newly printed Giclees of Perambulate and Fluidity. Stop by and visit with me. I would love to meet the folks who have been perusing my artwork.

Preparation for the Savvy Conference 06'

Thursday, August 31st 2006 8:33 pm CDT

I will be leaving for the savvy conference at Pat Parelli's Study Center in the beginning of September. The Savvy Conference is a 3 day event in which Pat and Linda Parelli present inspiring and advanced concepts of Natural Horsemanship.

I was invited to participate as a vendor last year and was completely blown away by the positive reaction to my artwork. I can't wait to jump in the truck and come back for another year. I have been busily finishing some commission work and preparing my pop up camper for a art invasion! On the 6th we will get ready to trek across the Midwest to Colorado.

I had such a wonderful time visiting with other students of Natural Horsemanship, and connecting with them through my artwork. I am looking forward to experiencing that again this year! Look for me in the retail tent if you are attending. I would love to talk with you.

Invited to the Vintage June 1st 2006

Wednesday, June 7th 2006 11:34 pm CDT

I have been invited to show my work at the Vintage Restaurant in St Paul Minnesota.

It is a beautiful space inside a historic red brick mansion on 579 Selby Avenue, only a couple blocks down from the College of Visual Arts gallery where I went to school. It was great to wander around the neighborhood again and see how much as changed and developed.

Four of my pieces, which include a new piece that has not appeared on equiphany.com yet, are currently living inside the main floor dining area, and seem to be feeling at home. They have a great wine selection and delicious food for a nice evening out.

You can find out more about The Vintage by visiting their website: http://www.thevintagerestaurant.com.

I would like to plan a summer get together party there to celebrate my art breaking out of the studio and into view. I will keep you all updated on when!

Hi everyone

Sunday, April 9th 2006 9:46 pm CDT

I have been studying at the Parelli Ranch in Florida, taking their new 6 week course format. I have been having a great time, learning and experimenting lots! I'm sure once I return home I'll have plenty of ideas for new work.

I am a little sad that I will not be home to attend the Minnesota Horse Expo with my artwork this year. I had such a wonderful time talking with everyone and showing my artwork there last year. The last day of classes down here are on April 28th, so I will be traveling home that weekend. Thanks to all of you who visited with me last year. I am looking forward to having a bigger and better booth next year.

I'll keep you all updated on any other artwork events that are in the works for this summer.

Launch of Equiphany Site

Friday, November 25th 2005 1:11 pm CST

Equiphany is now up and running! Many thanks to my long time friend James, (the notorious man-geek, is that like woman-child?), for his time and energy on this little project. James and I have known each other since highschool and he has watched me develop as an artist and as a person. Our friendship has endured many curious bumps and jaunts off the beaten path. During this 10 year journey we've had many discussions about artistic expression and technical brilliance. Those conversations have been known to turn into arguments about which virtue should prevail over the other. The creation of Equiphany.com exists from a collaboration of both of our talents proving that they can equally coexist and are *equally* important.

Success at the Savvy Conference!

Friday, September 16th 2005 3:02 pm CDT

The Savvy Conference at the Parelli Ranch in Pagosa Springs Colorado was a huge success for Equiphany Art. I was invited to show my art by the Parelli Team while attending their University Program in the winter of '05. As the Conference approached I was overwhelmed with feelings of hope, uncertainty and anxiety. After all it was been my education with Parelli Natural Horsemanship that has most shaped and directed my artwork, but would fellow Parelli students make those connections, and furthermore what would they have to say?

I was amazed by everyone who stopped to visit my booth and all the wonderful comments they made. I am also especially grateful to those of you who purchased my artwork. It is because of you that I am able to pursue my dream of becoming a Parelli Professional. Maybe one day I can make artwork as well as help people with their horses for my sole support and income.
