Creatures

I have many speculations about where my obsession with 'creatures' came from. It could be as simple as growing up in the time of Jim Henson, the movie Legends, and being in love with the book 'Where the Wild Things Are'. When given the opportunity, I love letting the creatures that live in my brain loose. Quite often they end up confined to the margins of notebook paper, but in a couple of instances I've been able to give them life.


I still have fantasies about obtaining a job that would allow me to live with my creatures full time, and I often wonder about what that life would be like. Of course that life would involve sacrificing a lot of other things that are important to me which is a dilemma I have confronted many times.
